Changsha among top 8 new first-tier cities

On May 30, the Charm List of 2024 New First-tier Cities was announced. The list estimated 337 cities in mainland China, and Changsha is listed on the eighth place.

"New first-tier cities" refers to the cities most likely to become "first-tier" in the future. According to previous data, since 2016, Changsha has steadily ranked in the top ten new first-tier cities, and it jumped to the eighth place in 2023. So this year is the same as last year.
