Painting or calligraphy?

Is this a painting? No.

At the calligraphy exhibition of inscriptions on bones and tortoise shells in Changsha, citizens and tourists learned the knowledge of the inscription and how to write it.

The inscription, which was carved on turtle shells and animal bones during the Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BC)  and Zhou Dynasty (1046 BC-256 BC) is believed to be the earliest written language in China.
