This indie studio from Changsha, China, proved that a small team can build something big. Their 2D Chinese fantasy game, Legacy of Taigong, inspired by the classic Investiture of the Gods, has surpassed one million downloads.

长沙独立游戏工作室猫咕猫咕，用坚持证明了“小团队也能创造大作品”。他们开发的2D国风游戏《太公传承》，以中国经典《封神演义》为灵感，全网下载量已突破100万。

Founder Yang Shang returned to Changsha in 2021 to start the studio, choosing to focus on what the team does best—2D games. After setbacks, limited funding, and years of iteration, the game's reboot has reached an even wider audience.

创始人杨上2021年回到长沙创业，坚持只做团队最擅长的2D游戏。经历项目失败、资金压力和无数个通宵后，团队不断迭代产品。今年，《太公传承》重置版正式上线，让更多玩家感受中国传统文化与独立游戏的魅力。

Now, the five-person team is creating a new title inspired by Huxiang culture, with the goal of sharing more Chinese stories with players around the world.
