中非教育发展前沿大学校长论坛在长举行

The China-Africa University Presidents Forum on Frontiers of Education Development opened on Sept 22 in Changsha, Hunan province, bringing together university leaders from China and Africa. It was hosted by Hunan University and attracted representatives from 15 universities across 13 African countries, including the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and the University of Nairobi in Kenya.

9月22日，中非教育发展前沿大学校长论坛在长沙开幕。本次论坛由湖南大学主办，吸引了坦桑尼亚达累斯萨拉姆大学、肯尼亚内罗毕大学等来自13个非洲国家的15所高校代表以及10余所国内兄弟高校代表参会。

Participants at the forum released a joint initiative to establish a China-Africa university alliance focused on digital development. The initiative calls for collaboration in building a digital higher education community, conducting forward-looking joint research, promoting cultural exchange, cultivating internationally minded digital talent, advancing industry-academia-research cooperation, and improving coordination mechanisms.

会上发布了《关于发起组建中非高校数字发展联盟的倡议》，倡议秉持共商共建共享原则，包含构建中非数字高等教育协作共同体、开展前瞻性联合学术研究、推动文明交流互鉴、培育国际化复合型数字人才、促进科教产协同联动、完善开放协同运行机制六大重点方向。

During the forum, participants will conduct field inspections in Changsha and Yueyang. They will visit university research platforms, construction machinery firms, medical tech enterprises and the China-Africa Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base to obtain first-hand knowledge of Hunan’s industry-academia-research collaborative innovation practices.

论坛期间，与会嘉宾将赴长沙、岳阳两地开展实地考察，走进高校科研平台、工程机械、医疗科技企业以及中非产教融合示范基地，实地了解湖南产学研协同创新实践。
